New Nokia Windows Phone LEAKED. Could be a budget friendly phone.

lumia_510
Nokia’s Lumia family will soon add a new budget-friendly member, at least according to a new report that suggests the phone will launch in China by the holidays, and globally early next year, with a $150 price tag. Nokia isn’t the only one trying to attract Chinese consumers; Research In Motion and Apple have also been vying to get their phones in as many hands as possible there in an effort to compete with local brands such as Huawei and ZTE.
The Lumia 510 will launch with 4GB of storage, a 4-inch display and will offer 256MB of RAM. The device appears to be running Windows Phone 7.x, since the homescreen doesn’t have different sized icons, so we’re guessing Windows Phone 8 won’t ever be available for the Lumia 510.

HTC One X+ Reviled; Impressive Specs and new "facelift"

HTC One X frontFollowing a number of leaks over the past few weeks, HTC has finally made the One X+ official this morning. In many ways, the handset is a lot like its predecessor; it has the same polycarbonate unibody, the same 4.7-inch Super LCD display, and offers the same 1GB of RAM. But  the One X+ is a whole new smartphone.
The big upgrade is the 1.7GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, which makes the One X+ “up to 67% faster” the the One X LTE, according to HTC. There is no microSD card slot in the new handset, but it does come with 64GB of internal storage as standard, plus 25GB of Dropbox storage absolutely free — so you should have plenty of space to store just about everything you’d like to pack into your smartphone.
The One X plus features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of shooting 1080p HD video — just like the original One X — plus an improved 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera that shoots 720p HD video. The battery has also been improved by a non-replaceable 2,100 mAh cell, which promises 50% more talk time.
HTC One X+ backAnother great feature of the One X+ is its software: It comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed, with HTC’s new Sense 4+ user interface laid over the top. As you’d expect, this update brings a number of improvements to the device, including new imaging and movie hubs, improvements to the camera app, and more.
The HTC One X+ with 3G connectivity will be making its way to Europe and North Asia in mid-October, then South Asia in November. And for those of you in the United States, HTC has said that it will be making a separate announcement regarding a One X+ with LTE connectivity later.
For all you people who got the HTC One X, eh, too  bad... So, what do you think of this? Will it beat the iPhone 5 (already did) or the Galaxy S3?

A game changer of Transportation, Boosted boards; A skateboard on steroids

A small company in Palo Alto, California, founded by some Stanford University students is about to change the way we travel.

Boosted Boards has introduced a prototype of what it's calling "the lightest electric vehicle that's ever been made"--a longboard electric skateboard that the company hopes will easily and quickly transport commuters from wherever their bus or train stops to wherever it is they actually want to be.

"The last mile of transportation is this huge problem that hasn't been solved yet," Boosted Boards co-founder Sanjay Dastoor said in the company's promotional video below. "Once you get off of a public transit system, whether it's a bus or a train or anything else, how do you get along that last mile to your destination? What Boosted Boards does is gives you a really portable vehicle that you can use in conjunction with public transit."

So far, the company is still working on prototypes, which weigh 12 to 15 pounds, can climb hills with grades as steep as 15 percent, go as fast as 20 mph, and last for six miles without being recharged.

The board's throttle and braking are all controlled with a little hand-held remote that's worn on the thumb. And, unlike other electric skateboards, there's room to grip underneath if you're looking to do any fancy tricks. The braking system is also regenerative, charging the battery a bit with every stop. If you do drain the battery and don't want to wait two hours to recharge, the board will still work like a regular skateboard, offering just a touch more resistance.

It appears as if the small company has a lot of support. It's partnered with longboard skateboard maker Loaded Boards and is consulting with a former director of engineering at electric vehicle maker Tesla Motors; Dastoor says he hopes the consultant will help the company avoid some of the common mistakes that young hardware companies make when they bring a product to market.

Nevertheless, Dastoor says that making a product like an electric longboard skateboard is extremely expensive, which is why the company has asked for pledges via online pledging system Kickstarter. So far, the company has raised more than $180,000, with 80 people (and counting) pledging the $1,199 required to receive a board by next June.

New ASUS Windows 8 tablets, your pocket will be empty just because of a tablet.

asus-roadmapA leaked roadmap of Asus tabs running Windows 8 reflect some very premium prices. Will they be indicative of what’s to come for devices running Microsoft’s new OS? For the sake of consumer wallets, please no.
According to the lineup, Asus’s Vivo Tab RT will come with a starting price of $599 (optional docking station comes in at $199). For those keeping track, that slots in at $100 more than Apple’s cheapest iPad 3. Not exactly a way to lure consumers over to the Windows 8 side but, if we were to go off the company’s IFA announcement, buyers will get 32GB of internal storage at that price (that puts it on par with the 32GB iPad 3).
Asus’s other Vivo Tab might start at a suggested price of $799. Again, not an ideal starting price, but this one is designed more as a laptop (it runs full Windows 8), rather than as just a tablet. You do, however, need to splash down $199 extra for a keyboard dock, which puts the price up to a grand. At that price, you can get a MacBook Air, which comes with 4GB memory, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and a 1.7GHz dual-core processor.
Finally, the Taichi slots in a $1,299. The 11.6-inch dual-screen device acts as both a notebook and tablet, with a flip up screen that comes with two displays in one package. That’s certainly an innovative feature, but are consumers willing to adopt such a technology at that price point? Unlikely. Not many have $1,300 lying around.
A manufacturer such as Asus has expertly navigated the line between affordable and innovative in its Transformer line — but that was in the Android camp. Windows 8 is entirely different beast, and market, so it’s discouraging to see prices starting so high. Probably not what the OS needs to attract consumers en masse. ZDNet notes that the above roadmap is preliminary, so prices aren’t yet set in stone. Let’s hope Asus rethinks its approach just a tiny bit before these actually come to market.

New HTC Device to rival Samsung Note? HTC One X 5

htc-dlx1Something big has been brewing at HTC. While there have been unconfirmed photos of prototypes floating around, a Sina Weibo user has posted what we have reason to believe is an authentic press image of the finished result: meet the One X 5.

As the name and image suggest, the phablet-class device should be dominated by a 5-inch (andpossibly 1080p) screen that makes even a regular One X look dainty. Internal details haven't been nailed down alongside the looks, although previous benchmarks have had it using a Snapdragon S4 that might ultimately be a quad-core S4 Pro. There's no immediate signs of a stylus or other tricks besides that sea of glass. We may not have long to wait before we find out, however. HTC just happens to have a New York City event planned for this Wednesday, and previously detected links between the 6435LVW and Verizon could see the One X 5 quickly reach the US if it's meant to show at that gathering -- although it might get another name change to fit into the Droid family.

HP OUTS NEW DESKTOP COMPUTER, New targets for Apple?

HP announces Spectre One desktop, three other all-in-ones
So Samsung is getting bombarded with lawsuits about patent infringement but HP seams to take no notice, and releases this slick looking, HP iMac with the awesome Mac (HP) keyboard and the Magic Trackpad (HP's trackpad?)
So here are the features you get out of this iMac Twin.   HP included four USB ports (two are 3.0), HDMI input, an Ethernet jack, Beats Audio and a memory card reader, with optional discrete graphics and SSDs. The components are also easily serviceable via a back door, if tinkering is your idea of fun. Lastly, the One ships with a keyboard, Magic Trackpad-style wireless touchpad and two NFC tags, which can be assigned to favorite websites.
In addition to the Spectre One, HP also trotted out three other all-in-ones. At the mid-range, you'll find the Envy 20 and 23, which have 20- and 23-inch screens, respectively, with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. Rounding out the list, the company announced the low-end Pavilion 20, another 1080p system. Put simply, the two Envy systems have touchscreens, Beats Audio and will be offered with Ivy Bridge processors only; the Pavilion is non-touch, and will be offered with both Intel and AMD chips.
The Envy 20, Envy 23 and Pavilion 20 will all be available on October 23rd, with the budget Pavilion going for $499 and the two Envys starting at $849 and $1,099, respectively. The Spectre One doesn't arrive until November 14th, but when it does it will cost $1,299.

So what do you think about this iMac, I mean HP Desktop computer. Is it too similar to the iMac (cough, the keyboard and trackpad are like twins) or is the design legit?

Razer Phone Rendering? Leaked?

I was looking through my email, and someone "anonymous" reported to me that Razer is working on a new phone. He or she tells me that specs are not fully available yet, but they were able to get a rough rendering.

The person reports that the phone will have a 5 inch display, 12 megapixel camera, and "really awesome" speakers. He also reports that the device is likely to have Windows 8 or Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

I personally do not think this is really (the renderings) but this seams pretty reasonable.

If this was real, would you get this phone? Also, do you think this phone is going to be unlocked or on a carrier?

AWESOME LOOKING HTC DEVICE HEADING TO CHINA (HTC ONE SC) Poor Specs, Great Design

HTC One SC
HTC released a new smartphone to its One series today, only for users in China. The device is called the One SC, and the design is pretty rad for a mid-range Android handset.
This device has 4.3-inch WVGA display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, and 4GB of internal storage. It’s got Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, with HTC’s Sense 4.0 user interface. The One SC is just 8.85mm thick, and weighs 116 grams.
While the One SC is exclusive to China, there’s a possibility its unique design may appear on one of HTC’s global smartphones in the near future. The Taiwanese company has an event scheduled on September 19 in New York City, where it is expected to announce its latest Windows Phone smartphone. In my opinion, if the HTC One S got a upgrade to look like this, I would totally get one.
The specs are pretty bad but the device its self looks rad, if a "HTC One S" upgrade is released in the US, would you buy it?

NEW HTC DEVICE LEAKED, WINDOWS 8 DEVICE (AKA ACCORD) POOR AND DISAPPOINTING SPECS

HTC 8X leak
We blogged about this device a couple of days ago, and final we got a view of the real HTC 8X (aka Accord). HTC has scheduled an event in New York City on September 19, where it is expected to announce its first Windows Phone 8 handset.
Twitter user “FootballPDA” posted two images of the handset on online — one of which includes an overview of its specifications. Codenamed Accord, the device will launch as the HTC 8X, or the “Windows Phone 8X HTC".
The leaked specs reports that the phone will have a 4.3-inch, 720p high-definition display, and it’ll be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It will also feature an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 lens, which will offer autofocus, an LED flash, and full high-definition 1080p video recording. As for the front-facing camera, that will reportedly sport an “ultra-wide angle” lens for better video calls, and will — surprisingly — be capable of 1080p video recording as well.
HTC 8X specs leak
Like the majority of HTC’s most recent smartphones, the 8X will include Beats audio technology, plus NFC connectivity, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
In comparison with other Windows Phone 8 devices we’ve already seen, the 8X isn’t too dissimilar to the Nokia Lumia 820 when it comes to internals. The screen is the same size, it features the same amount of RAM, and a similar rear-facing camera — though without Nokia’s PureView technology. Nokia’s handset also has a slightly faster 1.5GHz processor.
The 8X won’t be the fastest Windows Phone 8 handset on the market later this year, and HTC has been outing very disappointing phones compared to other companies, *cough* Samsung is doing really good *cough*

New Apple Earbuds LEAKED!!!

Next Apple earbuds get potential sighting in Vietnam, may fix an iconic design video

The pack-in earbuds for iPhones and iPods have been among the most recognizable of technology symbols for more than a decade... just not for their technical merits. They're notorious for slipping out of wearers' ears and having a mediocre sound next to just about anything else you can buy. If Tinhte's own discovery in Vietnam is authentic, Apple might be breaking with another one of its longstanding traditionsthis year by redesigning those earpieces for the better. Gone are the usual buds that only vaguely aim towards your ear canals. Instead, what's on show has oval tips very loosely resembling those of theKlipsch Image S4 II, and slots in at an angle to fit more directly into the canals -- not to mention more comfortably, based on early tests. We can't guarantee that these headphones are more than just the products of an ambitious third-party manufacturer, but Tinhte has had a good track record for snaggingpre-release Apple gear, and that "Designed by Apple in California Assembled in Vietnam" lettering would reduce the possibilities to either a good KIRF or the real thing. One way or the other, we could know the truth soon enough.

Mystery HTC Device LEAKED!!!

htc-dlx2The above phone is reportedly how HTC will attempt to pry folks away from the Galaxy S III this fall. The pictures don’t give away much, though the red accents seem to suggest the device could wind up on Verizon. Otherwise, what’s beneath the surface is pure speculation. We’ve previously heard that HTC was preparing a 5-inch, 1080p handset, so this could be it. In addition, The Verge said the rumored device showed up on a benchmarking site with a chip that could be next-gen, ahead of Qualcomm’s S4. HTC previously unleashed the DROID Incredible 4G LTE for Verizon, but this one could be decidedly more high-end, and huge competition for the S III and iPhone 5.

NEW HTC WINDOWS PHONE 8 SMARTPHONE LEAKED! [Dubbed the HTC Accord]

HTC Accord leak
HTC’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone — dubbed the HTC Accord — has been leaked ahead of its official unveiling. An image of the device, reportedly obtained from an official HTC ROM, was leaked on twitter.

HTC Accord images purportedly leaked from Windows Phone ROM

According to the poster, the HTC Accord will have a MSM8960 1.5GHz dual-core processor — the same processor that features in the U.S. Galaxy S III handset — 8GB and 16GB of internal storage, and a 720 x 1280 high-definition display. It’s  expected to feature an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, NFC capabilities, and a microSD card slot.
The HTC Accord is expected to become HTC’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Its vivid purple coloring also suggests the Taiwanese company is looking to compete with Nokia’s bright Lumia lineup.
It’s unclear when HTC will announce the Accord, but with Samsung having already announced its own Windows Phone 8 handset and Nokia’s coming next week, we expect its unveiling to come sooner rather than later.

NEW COLORS FOR GALAXY S3! Red, Black, Grey, and Brown!

Samsung announced at IFA in Berlin today that its flagship smartphone will soon be available in Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black, and Titanium Grey.
The colors aim to continue the Galaxy S III’s focus on nature, and each one is “derived from man’s relationship with natural materials and perfectly compliments the handset’s organic experience,” Samsung says.
The Korean company also noted that the availability of these colors will depend on your country and carrier/retailer — so it could be that not all of them arrive where you live. It hasn’t stated which devices will be available in which markets, but we’re hoping that carriers will do that on Samsung’s behalf in the coming days and weeks.
Would you still ignore the awesomeness of the Galaxy S3? Or will you fall into the trap of picking one up?

The Next Galaxy Nexus specs LEAKED!

Will Google stick with Samsung for the next Nexus-series phone? If this spec sheet that just leaked is accurate, it looks like Samsung could be returning for a three-peat, with what amounts to a small upgrade over last year’s Galaxy Nexus.
Instead of a quad-core Exynos, this document claims the phone would stick to a dual-core SoC, but ramp the clock speed up to 1.5GHz. Unfortunately, there’s no work on just which SoC we’re talking about, only that it won’t be a new design based around A15 cores.
Supposedly, this model GT-I9260 will keep a 4.65-inch display, which is now noted as an HD component; that’s a bit odd, since the Galaxy Nexus already has an HD screen. Why mention it for one but not the other if they’re the same resolution?
According to this, the next Nexus would use the same cameras as the Galaxy S III, with an eight-megapixel component around back, and would also offer the same microSD compatibility the GS3 enjoys.
Frankly, it’s all a bit underwhelming, and we can’t help but hope to see something a little more exciting from the next Nexus. That’s not to say that these specs look underpowered; maybe we’re just expecting too much to be wowed, when we really need a more utilitarian upgrade to a solid design.

Galaxy S3 Black leaked in T-Mobiles website

The black Samsung Galaxy S III is headed to the United Kingdom in 4-6 weeks, but now it appears the phone will make its way to the United States, too. T-Mobile’s website currently has a small rotating platform that displays several of its most popular and powerful smartphones that it offers. However, about 30 – 45 seconds into the clip there’s something we haven’t seen from T-Mobile before: a glossy black Galaxy S III.
We’ve included the image above (and below) for your enjoyment and have reached out to T-Mobile USA for official comment. This could be a mistake on the part of the web design team, or it could mean we’ll be seeing the smartphone pop up soon. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear more.

Black Samsung Galaxy S III 16GB Coming to U.K. in ’4-6 Weeks’

Black Samsung Galaxy S III
U.K. retailer MobileFun has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S III is coming to the U.K. in black in “4-6 weeks.” The handset will feature 16GB of storage and will be priced the same as its Marble White and Pebble Blue siblings. That’s £499.95 (approx. $785) SIM-free.
We’re happy to announce that Mobile Fun will be stocking the Samsung Galaxy S III sim free… in black! As far as we know, we’re the first to announce a price and release date for the new phone.
The new colour scheme looks fantastic when paired with the S3′s sweeping curves and thin frame, with a subtle texture that looks fantastic as you move it in the light.
Apart from its black paint job, the handset is identical to existing Galaxy S III handsets. It’ll feature the same 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display. There’s also an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and Samsung’s new voice-controlled S Voice application. I wish this comes to the US!

Samsung Galaxy Note II Design and Specs LEAKED!!

Galaxy Note II alleged press shot

"A new image of what is allegedly Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note II has surfaced online. The shot showcases the front of the new handset, and it looks a lot like a Galaxy S III that’s been stretched out. It features a physical home button that’s significantly larger than that of the original Galaxy Note, in addition to a front-facing camera." -TechnoBuffalo

With the handset’s official unveiling now just a couple of weeks away, this is certainly the right time for official press shots to be leaking. But Samsung has been cracking down on leaks like these, and the Korean company managed to keep the Galaxy S III’s design a secret right up until its unveiling.
The image was sent into GSMArena, who have been unable to confirm its authenticity with their other sources. However, as they note, Samsung is expected to make the second-generation Galaxy Note look a lot like the Galaxy S III, and so even if this is a fan-made mockup, it’s likely to be pretty close to the truth.
The tipster also provided some specifications for the device. They say it will it will sport a 1280 x 800 pixel Super AMOLED display that measures 5.5 inches diagonally. A full HD display did undergo testing, according to the source, but it was found to be consuming too much battery life and had to be scrapped.
The handset will also boast a 1.5GHz quad-core Exynos processor and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. It is expected to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich rather than 4.1 Jelly Bean, but an update to the latest OS is expected later on — as you’d have hoped with a brand new handset.
What do you think of this alleged press shot?

NEW HTC 5 INCH SMARTPHONE REPORTED TO COME THIS SEPTEMBER, The Galaxy Note 2 will have some competition.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note II may not be the only “phablet” this fall. According to "technoBuffalo" and “industry sources” speaking to DigiTimes, HTC is planning to debut a 5-inch smartphone in September or October, which will have a full 1080p high-definition display with a 1794 by 1080 resolution.
The new 5 inch tablet is likely that it will have 126 vertical lines will be dedicated to Android’s virtual navigation buttons, which were introduced with Ice Cream Sandwich. That means the device would actually feature a 1920 x 1080 panel.
Back in July a GLBenchmark test, which details a “HTC 6435LVW” with a 1794 x 1080 display, powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor running Android 4.0.4. appeared.
That seems to confirm a device with these specifications is currently being tested by HTC, but whether or not it will show its face this fall remains to be seen. It seemed like only a matter of time before the Galaxy Note got a rival, though.

Motorola Droid RAZR HD Leaked!

Motorola DROID RAZR HD Verizon rear
Motorola DROID RAZR HD Verizon frontToday some shots of the DROID RAZR HD have made an appearance online. The back of the DROID RAZR HD look like it has the same pattern and layout as the one that leaked out back in June, and there is a Verizon 4G LTE logo on its back. On the front,  the About phone screen that shows the DROID RAZR HD's name, XT926 model number, a Verizon designation and the fact that it's running Android 4.0.4 with on-screen navigation keys. The actual specs of the Droid Razr HD have been really hard to get, but so far it will have a 720p HD display resolution, 4G LTE and probably a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. There is no launch date set for this phone, but would you get this?
