The HTC One, one of the hottest looking smart phones in early 2013. HTC has been struggling lately to compete against their competitors, Samsung, Apple, and even LG. The HTC one is a product that is set to change HTC, and bring them back into the game, but is it good enough? Lets start with the design, the design is remarkable. There are many design ques stolen from the iPhone 5 by Apple, the sleek aluminum, precise cutting on the edges, but unlike the iPhone 5, it feels good to hold in the hand. The curved back makes the HTC one the one you want to hold. HTC has done a good job on making the phone look good on the outside, but our the features able to compete with Samsung and Apple? Not quite. The HTC One is running on Google's Android 4.2, however, the phone is skinned with HTC's new Sense 5 interface. The interface has a new flat and simple look. There also is a feature called blink feed, however I find blink feed to be super annoying at times.
The HTC One has out standing specs for a phone, but once in a while, I was able to feel MAJOR lag. That's right, not small skipped frame's, full on lag. The phone freezes up, and stops functioning for about 3 -6 seconds. For a phone with a 1.7 GHz quad core processor and 2GB of RAM, that's pretty bad.
Conclusion? The Galaxy S4 is a good phone, however, I would stick with the HTC One or iPhone 5S, or even the Note 3. This phone is worth your hard earned money, but HTC's customers service is terrible.
