Huawei Ascend W1 LEAKED in Leaked Press Shots

huawei-ascend-w1-leaked-press-shotHere is a pretty attractive looking press shot of Huawei’s upcoming Ascend W1, which we learned all about earlier this morning. It’s blue. And it’s not a Lumia 920, or 900, HTC Windows Phone 8X, HTC One X, a Sony phone. Apparently Huawei is so innovative, they think mashing the hottest phones together will boost there sales. Blue is in, guys. You want to offer a Windows Phone 8 device? Make it blue, like every other Windows Phone 8 device. I digress.
The device sounds like it’ll be aimed at taking on the mid-range WP8 handsets hitting soon, such as the Lumia 820 and HTC 8S, with supposed availability before the year is over. Here’s the specs: a 4-inch WVGA display (LOL), a 5-megapixel camera (ANOTHER LOL), a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 2,000mAh battery, 512MB of RAM (LOL) and 4GB of internal storage. It’s unclear on which carrier the Ascend W1 will hit, and at what price, but we’d expect pricing to be in the sub-$100 range on two-year contract.
