New Line of Droids Released! Droid Mini, Droid Ultra, And Droid Max. 8 CORE PROCESSOR!

Just as expected, Verizon revealed its new family of DROIDs today, courtesy of Motorola. The smallest is (naturally) the DROID Mini, entry-level counterpart to the big daddy Ultra and MAXX, and ostensible sequel to the excellent DROID RAZR M. The phone uses the same Kevlar-wrapped style as the larger phones, with the naturally updated hardware that you'd expect. It launches on August 20th for $99 on-contract, and pre-orders will be live today.

All three new phones use a Motorola-branded octocore system on a chip, the X8. (This may be a bit of a misnomer - a Verizon slide mentioned 2 processor cores, 4 GPU cores, one contextual computing core, and one language processing core.) Verizon claims the CPU is 24% faster, while the GPU is 100% faster - not bad, considering the respectable Snapdragon S4 on the previous phones. The Verizon event is still going on, so it's not clear how large or dense the screen is, just that it's smaller than the Ultra and MAXX.
More interesting is the change in style that Motorola has gone with. The Nexus-style virtual navigation buttons from the RAZR M have disappeared, replaced with capacitive versions (but thankfully in the standard back-home-recents configuration). We don't have a reason for this change, but it is a bit disappointing from a pure Android perspective. The rest of the phone is much improved cosmetically - gone is the jarring mix of materials and finishes from the somewhat disjointed M. It's smooth, rounded Kevlar, glass, and not much else.

Features include active display alerts, which lights up a portion of the (presumably Super AMOLED) screen instead of using an alert light, the "Quick Capture" feature seen in the Moto X camera leak, and the Command Center widget. This is the old "Circles" Motorola widget on steroids. And for you Ingress players, the Google location game is pre-loaded. (Here's hoping it can be disabled.) Buying the DROID Mini between now and September 30tht will get you free Google Music All Access for six months.
Information on the DROID Mini will be updated as we receive it.

NEXUS 7 NEXT GENERATION, LEAKED!!!!

New Google Nexus 7 press images leak
What a better look at that new Nexus 7? Well it's back again today, continuing the steady stream of leaked press images that we've seen this weekend.
Prolific leaker @evleaks has shared some press shots that give us a clear look at the front and rear of the new Nexus 7. Looking at the Nexus 7's face, we can see a 7-inch display smack dab in the middle of a front-facing camera and what appears to be a notification light. Around back there's a new rear-facing camera, a speaker up at the top (with another speaker likely at the bottom), and some horizontal "Nexus" branding.
More to come...

FIRST LOOK OF THE MOTOROLA "X - FONE"/"X - PHONE"

Today, @evleaks on Twitter put out first official press renders of the Motorola X-Phone. The Android OS version is something that looks like 4.2 or possibly 4.3 with No/Minimal skins. Using other leaked photos as reference, these renders have every detail right. The X-Phone's camera is in the center of the device, the phone is sleek and has a bit of a curve at the bottom. The flash is located under the camera and the speakers are located next to the camera. The material seem to be some sort of Kevlar material on the back, and the phone has a headphone jack at the top. From these leaked renders, the phone actually looks very different from most phones Motorola has put out, and personally this design is very appealing to me. The phone is meant to be more of a "Mid-range" device, so specs are a bit watered down, however, it still has many specs (Leaked and confirmed) that will make you want this device in your pocket.

Here are the specs we know so far for the X-Phone:

- A dual core Qualcomm S4 Pro 1.7GHz CPU, Adreno 320 GPU.
- 2 GB Of RAM
- 720x1184 4.7 inch display *about 4.5 inches without the on screen buttons*
- 10.5MP Rear Camera, 2.1MP front-facing camera
- Android 4.2.2 or 4.3
- 16 GB of memory, 12GB is available to users.
- NFC
- 2,200 mAh Battery.

This phone has some "mild" specs, but its no slouch, these specs are much better than all the mid-ranged phones out there, and if this has a mid-range price, these will be going off the shelves as quick as the GS4's and HTC One's are. Remember, the camera image quality doesn't matter if it has super high Pixels, its all about the sensor capturing the image. Hopefully the sensor is a legit sensor, not a "Mid Range" sensor. Other than that, the device is very nice looking, The curve will make it easier to hold, and the screen is not as large are the S4 or the Note 2, so people looking for phones will smaller screens will be great buying this phone.

EXCLUSIVE REVIEW OF THE SONY MDR-XB 500's!

(photo's coming soon)

The SONY MDR-XB 500's are legendary over ear headphones that has gotten a great reputation. The XB-500's are well known for it's cheap price, EXTRA comfy cushions, and great sound quality. However, sadly, these were replaced by the new XB 600's which in my opinion are terrible compared to the XB 500's. Let's get started on this review.

The SONY MDR XB-500's are by far the best headphones (with super charged bass AND an great comfort) for under 100 dollars. Currently, these headphones are starting to get rare, and if you are reading this review, you are probably thinking on buying these vs other "top notch" headphones. I am not an audiophile, however, I can assure you that these headphones have the best "bang for your buck" ratio. These headphones have great, strong bass, and a punchy and crisp sound. If the bass is too much for you, there are equalizers you can use to turn it down. These headphones actually follow equalizers unlike most headphones such as Beats by Dre (Solo, Mixr, Studio, Pro, you name it). These are also much comfortable, however, it may take time to get your ear in the right place because the cushions are very deep. Also, these headphone leaks a lot compared to other headphones because of the giant cushions and the noise isolation is not great on these. The cables are NOT detachable and they do not feature an inline mic or controls, but they are flat, so they do not tangle. SONY includes a very minimalistic soft case so your headphones will not get dirty.

Bottom line, these headphones are great, you can get them on Amazon.com for 69.99 dollars (may change as demand increases or stock depleats) LINK (Sony MDR XB-500 Headphones - Amazon.com) and they will be the best 69.99  you will spend. The quality is great, the ear cushions are hand sewn, and the sound quality is top notch. If you are thinking of buying Beats, or any other celebrity endorsed headphone, don't be a douche bag, and get the SONY MDR XB-500 instead.
